Stephen Lee, who was active in his field for 40 years, was found deceased in his home on Aug. 14. The actor was found by an actor friend of his named Lisa Pescia.
According to The Hollywood Reporter ,the actor died of an apparent heart attack.
Lee, who was from New Jersey, spent most of his life playing small roles on both the small screen and the big screen. Some of his most notable appearances were on shows like Seinfield, where he played a contractor working for Jerry. He also appeared in several episodes of Nash Bridges where he played a mobster and police informant.
He also portrayed actor Tom Arnold in a 1994 TV movie that aired on NBC. Lee’s other credits include work on movies, he had a small role in Burlesque which starred Cher and Christina Aguilera and in 1998’s The Negotiator which starred Samuel L. Jackson and Kevin Spacey, Variety reports .
The late actor last worked in 2010 on various TV shows, including NCIS and Bones
