The members of Danity Kane are once again on the outs but this time, two group members, Aubrey O'Day and Shannon Bex, are speaking out and giving fans what Aubrey is calling the "unfiltered truth."

Last May, the girls announced that they would be reuniting after a 4 year split, without their creator, Diddy and minus member Aundrea Fimbres who left the group before they went on their "No Filter" tour in May to start a family, according to MTV. The reunion was initially announced at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.

Unfortunately, the reunion may never come to full fruition. Members Aubrey O'Day and Shannon Bex released separate and joint statements about the group's apparent dissolution via Twitter and both appear to place the blame on group mate Dawn Richard who allegedly struck O'Day in the head at a Los Angeles studio Monday. According to TMZ, O'Day has filed a battery report.

In her individual statement, O'Day described a business meeting that "took a turn for the worst." O'Day goes into detail about the attack saying, "My group member punched me in the back of my head while I was speaking to another associate. To be clear, she was not physically engaged or threatened prior to her attack on me. This is the same information I provided to the police, and witnesses also corroborated this account of the incident." She also explains that Richard's behavior has gotten "darker and darker" and that she can "[N]o longer pretend that she is willing to do what it takes to protect the power of the Danity Kane name."

Shannon Bex seemed to confirm O'Day's account of the altercation in her statement. "I did not witness a shouting match, a cat fight or a brawl. I witnessed a single direct punch," she said. Also, unlike O'Day, Bex used Dawn Richard's name in her statement and shared a journal entry from April detailing her frustrations with her group mate:

“For so long I’ve looked at you and your strengths trying to find any excuse for you in my head to put you back where I used to hold you. But time and again you prove me wrong to myself. Now I’m looking out for me I’ve learned that from you. But I pray my heart stays pliable and is still moved by honest humanity. May the ability to love not escape from my chest, ” the entry said.

The two concluded with a joint statement, apologizing to their fans and expressing their appreciation for their journey as a girl group. They closed the letter with a hopeful line saying, "[W]e still remain committed to the idea that talented women can come together to create something bigger than themselves. When that moment happens, true history will be made. Until then... Shan & Aubs."
