David Yates is returning to the magical world of Harry Potter. The director has signed on to helm the spinoff trilogy Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

While no formal deal has been reached and Warner Bros. has yet to comment, Variety’s sources claim that Yates will direct the first installment of Fantastic Beasts. There’s no production schedule in place as of yet because Yates is currently shooting Tarzan, starring Alexander Skarsgard and Margot Robbie. Yates previously directed the last four Harry Potter films.

Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling will be making her screenwriting debut with Fantastic Beasts. Warner Bros. announced the project last September.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will be set in New York 70 years before the events of the Harry Potter series. The film will follow Newton Artemis Fido Scamander, the author of a guide to magical creatures, the titular Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

The film is currently set to be released on Nov. 18, 2016.
