“Neon Lights” singer Demi Lovato has officially confirmed a collaboration with Nick Jonas, admitting she is “so excited” for fans to see the “Who I Am” singer’s new music.
Jonas had previously mentioned he and Lovato had recorded a song together for his upcoming album. The former Jonas Brother admitted to E! News, “she’s the real deal. It’s the perfect fit for this record.”
Lovato, who recently revealed she is no longer friends with Selena Gomez, has further confirmed the collaboration between the former Camp Rock costars, claiming that Jonas pursued the “Really Don’t Care” singer’s voice specifically for the song.
"Nick and I decided to collaborate together because he had a song that he wanted us to work on together," she explained to E! News. "And we did and when I heard it I fell in love with the song. I'm so excited for the world to see how incredible he is when he sets his mind to things."
Jonas is currently working on his first solo album, which will include the anticipated collaboration song with Lovato and his recently released single, “Chains.”
