Fifty shades of Grey already has competition. The film will be challenged by a much cleaner, and religious, version of a romance movie.

The film, Old Fashioned, stars Rik Swartzwelder, as a former frat boy, and Elizabeth Ann Roberts as a free-spirited woman. The two will have a relationship that is as old-fashioned as possible, and minus the kinky scenes from its counterpart, Fifty Shades of Grey, reported Time.

“I wanted to tell a love story that takes the idea of Godly romance seriously,” said Swartzwelder, who is also directing the film.

When the production company Freestyle Releasing released God’s Not Dead, it received positive reviews and grossed $60 million earlier in the year. Swartzwlder hopes the same for Old Fashioned, reported Variety.

Swartzwelder’s film will definitely have to stand it's ground against it's competition. Fifty Shades of Grey garnered a large fan base when E.L. James released the first novel in the erotica trilogy three years ago.

Fifty Shades of Grey had the “best opening week” for any trailer so far, and was the most viewed trailer of the year. However Swartzwelder isn’t too concerned with box office numbers as he is with spreading the film’s message, reported the Hollywood Reporter.

“One is a modestly budgeted indie flick that seeks to make room for godly romance in contemporary America. The other is a multimillion-dollar studio film based on a best-selling erotica novel that has … other goals in mind,” Swartzwelder said on the blog for ”Old Fashioned..

Old Fashioned and Fifty Shades of Grey is set to be released on Valentine’s Day 2015.
