Stephen Hawking has long been regarded as one of the most brilliant minds the world has ever known but now, his love life is taking center stage in the new movie The Theory of Everything.
The movie, which stars Les Miserables alum Eddie Redmayne as Stephen Hawking, is based off of Hawking's first wife Jane Hawking's memoir Travelling to Infinity: My Life with Stephen, according to AceShowbiz. The movie will follow the two from their meeting at Cambridge University in the 1960s, and covers Hawking being diagnosed with ALS (better known as Lou Gehrig's disease)and the effect it had on his relationship with Jane.
The film will be shown during the first weekend of the Toronto Film Festival, which starts September 4 and is already being pushed as an Oscar contender. According to Deadline, the film is following the path of one of last year's "Best Picture" Oscar nominees The Dallas Buyer's Club, which also premiered at the Toronto Film Festival and went on to win three Oscars and several other award nominations.
The Theory of Everything will premiere in theaters on November 7.
