The Foo Fighters have their eight album coming on November 10th and it is paying homage to the mighty number eight in an assortment of ways.
Rolling Stone reports that just last week an eight second video was released of a man growling, “all rise,” and now the group has announced the title of the album and the track list. The band chose Sonic Highways for the title which will be a 44-minute long music experience which is co-produced by Butch Vig.
The album will contain eight songs, each recorded in a different city, and the album artwork proves it with landmarks from Los Angeles, Seattle, Chicago, New York, Washington, D.C., New Orleans, Nashville and Austin on display. In addition the 180-gram vinyl edition will feature and additional nine covers.
The title for the album coincides with the HBO eight-episode series, premiering October 17th, under the same name that follows the bands creation of their eight record reports Billboard.
