Now that we know George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin’s wedding will take place in Italy sometime in the near future, details are starting to surface about the highly-anticipated event.
Georgio Armani will reportedly design a tux for Clooney and his groomsmen. In fact, a source told Women’s Wear Daily a team from Armani’s Milan location has already visited Clooney and his wedding party at his Lake Como home for fittings.
The wedding is rumored to take place in Venice on Sept. 20.
E! Online notes it’s currently unknown who will have the honor of designing Alamuddin’s wedding gown, but it’s rumored she’s considering a dress by Oscar de la Renta.
As we previously reported, the couple has obtained a marriage license in London, England. A notice was posted outside of Chelsea Old Town Hall, included with their intention to wed in Italy.
Clooney and his human rights lawyer bride-to-be got engaged in April.
