It’s been almost a month since Glee star Becca Tobin’s boyfriend, Matt Bendik, passed away on July 10 and the actress is now breaking her silence on the tragedy.
Bendik passed away at the age of 35. He was found dead in his hotel room in Philadelphia while on a business trip, with Tobin accompanying him.
She has taken to Instagram to post a photo of herself with Bendik and thanked fans for the support in the wake of his death.
“Thank you all for the love and support. Matt was the most extraordinary man I knew and he will live in my heart forever,” she wrote.

ABC News notes Bendik’s death came almost a year after the passing of Glee star Cory Monteith, who died at the age of 31 in his hotel room in Vancouver due to a lethal mixture of heroin and alcohol.
The cause of Bendik’s death is still unknown at this time.
