Actress Jennifer Aniston revealed to makeup artist Bobbi Brown why she will never get plastic surgery.
The style icon was interviewed by Brown for Yahoo Beauty about her fashion choices, beauty routine, and pressure to stay young looking.
“There is also this pressure in Hollywood to be ageless,”” Aniston told Brown. “I think what I have been witness to, is seeing women trying to stay ageless with what they are doing to themselves. I am grateful to learn from their mistakes, because I am not injecting s**t into my face."
Aniston also said that her fiancé Justin Theroux would ‘put a gun’ to her head if she began altering her face.
Aniston went on to compliment her peers in Hollywood who seem undaunted by the pressure to always appear young.
“I am fortunate enough to know women like Gloria Steinem, who I think is one of the most stunning women on the planet, and doesn’t touch her face. Diane Keaton, Annette Bening, all of these fabulous fearless women who are flawless, they embrace it!”
The 45-year-old actress has done a great job of staying ageless herself and insists it is because of her Greek roots and staying well hydrated.
“My dad is 100 percent Greek; he turned 81 and he barely has a wrinkle. And neither does my grandmother, who was 95 when she died.”
With so many ways to stay looking young, it is refreshing that Aniston sticks with more natural ways to keep a youthful glow. According to Pret-a-reporter, more and more people are doing fat transfers and Botox in order to look youthful.
Aniston encouraged in her interview that any age can be beautiful.
“Represent beauty in all ages,” the star said.
