Judy Greer and Natasha Lyonne has been cast to star in Jamie Babbit's latest directorial effort Fresno.
Greer will play Shannon, who is a sex addict and struggles with both poor decisions and poor impulse control, according to Deadline, who first learned of the casting.
Lyonne, who has been nominated for an Emmy for Orange is the New Black, will play Shannon's sister Martha, who is a lonely lesbian. Together, they work in a Fresno hotel where they clean rooms and one day they accidentally kill a guest, which causes them to examine their co-dependent relationship.
Karey Dornetto (Community) wrote the script for Fresno and Andrea Sperling will produce. Babbit, who directed But I'm A Cheerleader, is looking to begin filming in September.
Greer has been quite a popular actress to bring onto projects this year. She most recently joined the cast of Marvel's Ant-Man just as filming got underway this week.
Earlier in the year she was cast in Jurassic World.
Greer, who currently also appears in the Sprint Framily commercials, is in the upcoming film, Men, Women & Children, which dropped a trailer this week. She also had a role in the summer blockbuster hit Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and will be in the upcoming film The Good Dinosaur. She also currently stars in the FX freshman comedy Married.
