Kings of Leon fans may be feeling slightly disappointed as the band has chosen to cancel most of its August tour dates following the bus accident that occurred on August 10th.

A pedestrian jumped in front of the tour bus following their show in Boston on Saturday causing the bus driver to brake abruptly. In result drummer Nathan Followill was sent to the hospital where he must now rest due to his broken ribs. Now the drummer must remain in the hospital for the next two weeks as per doctor’s orders.

In response to what happened the band has decided to cancel all of its shows for the next two weeks and will resume its tour on August 28th at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holdmel, NJ. However the band will still perform on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday’s episode with The Roots drummer Questlove playing for Followill reports Entertainment Weekly.

The band also uploaded a video from Natahn Fallowill to YouTube where he apologized for having to miss the shows and thanks fans for their support.
