The drummer for Kings of Leon, Nathan Followill, was injured in a tour bus accident, causing the band to postpone their Sunday concert in Saratoga Springs, New York.

The accident took place after the band’s concert in Boston on Saturday night. The delay was announced shortly after the accident which left Followill with a broken ribs, reported Ace Show Biz.

On the Facebook fanpage for Kings of Leon, a post giving details about the accident went up.

"The band was en route to their hotel after their show in Boston when a pedestrian jumped in front of their tour bus, causing the bus to stop short, injuring Nathan Followill," it read.

Followill was treated at the hospital where he is in better condition. He tweeted a thank you for concerned fans on his Twitter.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kings of Leon is touring in support of their 2013 album “Mechanical Bull.” The band was set to play on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on August 12. That appearance was not yet postponed despite Followill’s accident.

The Sunday show was not rescheduled to a specific date, but refunds were available to those. The next stop on the New York tour for the band was show in Wantagh on August 13.
