Those involved in the knockout game seemed to play with new caution after a recent attack on a Florida man, who was first asked if he had a gun before he was punched in the face.
The group of teenagers however, failed in the goal of the game, which is to knock random people unconscious, while in groups. Luckily for the victim, he pulled out a knife, pretended it was a gun and caused the teen and his friends to run off, reported The Daily Caller.
The 15-year-old and three other friends were caught by police after the incident on the beach. The victim was alone at the time of the attack, but a witness called police.
According to The Florida Times-Union , the boys were identified by the man. The 15-year-old who punched the victim was taken to the county jail and booked on battery charges. Another 15-year-old in the group, who was also arrested, was reported missing, and was suspected of stealing in the city.
Since “knockout game” gained popularity, several people have been killed in the attacks. Those who carry out the attacks, usually teenagers in groups, are expected to knock victims out with a single punch.
