Lady Gaga learned about the effects of the Mile High City the hard way. The pop superstar revealed to her fans that she was hospitalized for altitude sickness following yesterday’s Denver concert.

The 28-year-old Artpop singer posted a hospital selfie on Instagram overnight, writing, “Altitude Sickness is no Joke! #hitThatHospitalS**t #artRaveDenver many true ravers crowd tonight.”

As People notes, this is obviously not a rarity for visitors to Denver and Colorado who aren’t used to the high altitude. Denver’s government site even offers tips for visitors to the city. Obviously, since Gaga’s ArtRave shows require a lot of dancing, she might have forgotten about the tip for keeping an eye on your physical activity.

Gaga’s tour continues tomorrow in Seattle. On Saturday, she heads up north for a date in Vancouver.

In other Gaga news, she recently announced that her long-awaited duets album with Tony Bennett will finally be coming out. Cheek to Cheek hits stores on Sept. 23. The single, “Anything Goes,” is already available.
