A man was arrested on the set of Woody Allen’s latest film in Providence, Rhode Island on Tuesday. The film, which stars Emma Stone, Joaquin Phoenix and Parker Posey, is being shot near Brown University.

Police say Mark Spiridakos arrived on set mid-day and got into it with security guards. He threw a chair after asking “weird questions” about the film’s actors, and was charged with assault after attacking the guards.

He tried to get away, but the security guards had to tackle him and he was subsequently treated for a head injury at a nearby hospital.

The security guards told Providence’s WPRI he “made a scene” as soon as he got onto set. He even hit one of the guards with a lunch box before attempting to make his exit.

Spiridakos was charged with one count of assault with a deadly weapon and another count of simple assault, Providence Police Major David Lapatin told NBC 10.
