Michael Jackson is back again with a new music video, which debuted on Twitter. The video features “A Place With No Name,” the second single from Xscape, the posthumous album released earlier this year.
The track itself takes liberally from America’s 1971 hit “A Horse with No Name,” changing the lyrics and adding in a synth dance beat. Its chorus is catchy and the video is mostly black and white. As Today points out, the footage with Jackson himself appears to be outtakes from the 1992 video for “In The Closet.” There are also color scenes of Jackson wearing sunglasses and a hat. It was directed by Samuel Bayer.
Xscape was released back in May and was put together by L.A. Reid. The songs featured unused Jackson vocals with background tracks produced by today’s hottest producers, including Timbaland.
“Love Never Felt So Good” was the first single from the album, but it did not get a music video.
