A four-year-old was expelled from his Florida preschool after his mother’s Facebook posts made school administrators angry.

When Ashley Habat wasn’t informed earlier about her son’s picture day, she ranted about the experience on Facebook. Habat complained that she did not have enough time to prep her son Will, reported Yahoo News.

“Why is it that every single day there is something new I dislike about Will’s School? Are my standards really too high or are people working in the education field really just that ignorant?” Habat wrote.

According to News4Jax, just one day after her post, her son was expelled from his school. Habat was not expecting a phone call from the school asking her to come by the office for a meeting. She was told she and her son “weren’t the right fit, parent relationship with the school,” and that he could no longer attend.

“I was in shock,” Habat said. “Why would you expel a 4-year-old over something his mom posts on her private Facebook page only people on her friends list can see?”

In the letter of the dismissal, Habat was told her relationship with the school "did not get off to a very good start the first day of school" and that her Facebook posts was offensive because it put into question "not only the integrity but the intelligence of our staff." The letter also said that what Habat did was mentioned in the handbook, presumably a contract, that was signed by her.

The principal for the school did not give any more details of the situation, but said it was a “private matter involving the school and a parent.”
