A security breach first reported in June has affected 33 P.F. Chang's China Bistro locations.

The Business Insider reported that the breach spanned over the course of several months from October to June.

According to USA Today, on Monday, the restaurant chain announced that the breach may have led to consumer data being stolen off credit and debit cards.

"We have determined that the security of our card processing systems was compromised," a message posted on the company’s website read. "The potentially stolen credit and debit card data includes the card number and in some cases also the cardholder's name and/or the card's expiration date."

The compromised data processing system was removed from service until security was assured and during that time restaurant locations processed credit and debit cards manually.

Data was reportedly stolen from customers who visited restaurants in Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Nevada, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and eight locations in California.

Customers with questions can call P.F. Chang’s or refer their concerns to the company’s website.
