When Robin Williams tragically passed away last week, it left the future of several of his film projects up in the air. Now, we're getting word that he may not have finished work on his last project, Absolutely Anything.
Williams would have been providing the voice of Dennis, Simon Pegg's dog. According to The Telegraph, Pegg himself isn't sure if WIlliams ever finishing recording his performance, and so the team may be forced to replace him with another actor.
"...I hope that he had completed it because it would be a real shame not to have him in it," Pegg said. "And of course there will be a degree of sadness there, but the work he did do would have been done with his usual verve and brilliance.”
Absolutely Anything, directed by Terry Jones, follows a teacher (Simon Pegg) who discovers he has magic powers. It features five members of Monty Python, including director Terry Jones himself. It is currently in post production, and set to release sometime next year.
Robin Williams' other upcoming films included A Merry Friggin' Christmas, Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, and Boulevard. According to Coming Soon, it is believed that Williams had completed his work on all three of these films, and they are expected to proceed on schedule.
