Authorities have said that a serial stowaway was arrested for trespassing on Monday after she hopped a flight from San Jose to Los Angeles.

According to the San Jose Mercury News, Marilyn Jean Hartman was taken into custody at LAX after she managed to get onto a Southwest flight from Mineta San Jose International Airport.

The 62-year-old have previously been arrested several times for trying to sneak onto flights at San Francisco International Airport.

As the Associated Press noted, this is the second security breach at San Jose where someone was able to gain access to a plane and fly without a ticket. In April, a 15-year-old boy jumped a fence at the airport and stowed away in the wheel well of a Hawaii-bound airplane.

Unlike Hartman, authorities do not believe the teenager was a repeat offender.

“(Hartman) is a known plane hopper,” said California Congressman Eric Swalwell. “She is someone that airport officials should be looking for.”

Hartman was discovered after flight attendants in LA did a head count for passengers continuing on to Phoenix. Of course they ended up counting one more person than there should have been on the plane.
