Now that filming of Star Wars: Episode VII is now back on track, we have got some more news about the film hitting the web. On Thursday, the new Stormtrooper helmet has leaked. Maybe by the time of the movie, Stormtroopers have learned to shoot straight.

Seeing as we do know that the movie takes place 30 years after Return of the Jedi, it makes sense that Stormtrooper helmets would have evolved significantly. According to Cinemablend, the helmet images surfaced on IndieRevolver.

That site showed off two images. One looks like a standard Stormtrooper helmet, but is not symmetrical like the familiar design. It looks more sleek compared to the Original Trilogy helmets. The second images shows a trooper that looks similar to the Snowtroopers in The Empire Strikes Back.

But both images do have one big thing in common with the vehicle shown off in the “Force for Change” video. They are clearly influenced by original concept part by Ralph McQuarrie, Joe Johnston and the others who worked on the first films.

Of course, Lucasfilm and Disney haven’t officially shown off any designs from Episode VII, but, as Cinemablend notes, artist Tom Hodges may have confirmed that these are legit. “So I missed A LOT of details. My second view of it, I just was scratching the surface. But I told you it was freaking awesome! #starwars #episodevii #stormtroopers,” he wrote, referring to past images he shared. Hodges is a design artist who has frequently worked on Star Wars.

J.J. Abrams’ Star Wars: Episode VII doesn’t open until Dec. 18, 2015. Filming is set to resume this month after Harrison Ford’s injury delayed production.
