Syracuse University has been ranked as the No. 1 party school in the country by The Princeton Review.
The Associated Press reported that the annual ranking published on Monday was based on a survey of 130,000 students at over 300 U.S. colleges and universities.
As the Huffington Post noted, the private New York school overtook last year’s champion, the University of Iowa, for this year’s top spot.
Officials at Syracuse, however, are not happy about the ranking.
"We do not aspire to be a party school," the University said in a statement. It also said that Syracuse would rather be recognized for its reputation of “academic excellence.”
The University of Iowa took the No.2 spot, the University of California-Santa Barbara took third place and West Virginia University ranked fourth. The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign rounded out the top 5 party schools.
The colleges were ranked by 62 different qualities, including best career services, best science facilities, best dorms and best campus food.
