After a week of Instagram and Twitter teases, Taylor Swift finally revealed her big news on Monday and it’s not as “big” as you may have been hoping. No, she isn’t ready to announce a follow-up to Red. Instead, she’s announced an online performance for Yahoo.

Swift will appear in a Yahoo Screen event live from New York City on Aug. 18. The event will also be streamed live and was announced on Good Morning America.

She also posted the news on Twitter.

The news followed days of cutesy posts on Twitter and Instagram for fans, notes The Hollywood Reporter. Many thought that all signs pointed to a new album or at least a new single, since it has been well over a year since Red came out. So, it’s understandable if some fans found today’s news a bit anticlimactic.

In other Swift news, Billboard is reporting that she has appeared in a teaser for a new The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon appearance.

In the video, she appears as her nerdy alter-ego Natalie, wearing braces and glasses. It is possible that she will appear in a new “EWWW!” skit, which features celebrities doing their best teen girl impressions.
