Texas grandfather Reggie Stewart received backlash after he used his 10-month-old granddaughter for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

In the video Stewart posted, his granddaughter sits in a walker and takes off what seems to be a swim cap moments before the bucket of freezing water is dumped over their heads. The video, posted on his Facebook, could land Stewart in trouble with the law, reported the Huffington Post.

“I've been called out for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge… and my granddaughter … is going to do it with me,” Stewart said.

The child’s father, Claude Dalcour, was furious after seeing the video, saying that he was “shocked, appalled” and brought to tears. The father reported the video to local law enforcement who investigated the situation. They visited Stewart’s home and checked on his granddaughter.

“It’s abuse because my daughter is an infant. She doesn’t know what’s going on,” Dalcour said.

Stewart was not charged with any crime. The video was removed from his page, which has the photo of his granddaughter as his profile picture.
