After the first round of the Bridgestone Invitational, Tiger Woods has a realistic chance of winning the tournament. Every time he has shot a 68, he has won eight times at the Bridgestone Invitational. Being in this position is not new to him by any means.

In the past, Woods has had tremendous success at this event. In this years first round, he finished four shots behind the lead man Marc Leishman, who is shooting 64, according to CBS Sports.
Despite not being in first place at the moment, Woods feels that he had a productive day and first round. He also suggested that even though he shot well, he could do better.
"I hit a lot of good shots. Overall, it was a good, solid day. This is only my seventh round back. I still have to get into the flow of things. I'm starting to get my feels back," Tiger stated.
In a recent interview, he talked about two goals he is looking to achieve. He wants to have the all-time record for PGA tour wins, and he wants to have the all-time wings at a major. As of right now Woods has 79 wins, as proven by USA Today.
“I think there are two goals that are pushing me right now. One is get the all time win record, only three back of Sam [Snead] on that one. Obviously the major record, I’m four back of Jack [Nicklaus],” Woods explained. “I’ve got to put it in perspective I’ve done this for 19 years, and I have had 79 wins. That’s a pretty good clip.”
