Despite backlash from almost every channel, Cory Allen Contemporary Art and artist XVALA are still moving forward to display leaked photos of actress Jennifer Lawrence and model Kate Upton.

The artist’s show, ironically titled “No Delete," will feature provocative photos of the stars, and the artist, Cory Allen, has finally revealed the reasoning behind the exhibit. “The artist sees these images as art," he tells E! News .

The artist plans on having the images presented on life-size canvases, unaltered and unfiltered. Allen says, “Transforming those images to canvas presents them in a different light. It makes them real."

Both stars threatening legal recourse against any use of the photos is not daunting for the artist. Allen addresses the controversy by saying that it was not their intention to do anything illegal, and they have not been contacted by the authorities as of yet.

As previously reported by The Celebrity Cafe, the exhibit will debut in Saint Petersburg, Fla. on Oct. 30, and it will also feature other controversial photos from the internet, including one of Britney Spears.
