Quirky writer/director Noah Baumbach is back with another film, titled While We’re Young, which is getting great reviews from critics at the Toronto International Film Festival. The Frances Ha filmmaker teamed up with Ben Stiller again and it looks like the effort paid off.

On Monday, film distributor A24 Films announced on Twitter that they picked up the movie for distribution at least in the U.S. While the company didn’t reveal financial details, Deadline reports that A24 spent $4 million on it. (That’s actually a steal, considering that Chris Rock’s Top Five went to Paramount for $12.5 million for worldwide rights.)

The film stars Stiller, Amanda Seyfried, Adam Driver and Naomi Watts and centers on a middle-age couple whose lives turn upside-down when a younger couple comes into the picture. Sounds like perfect material for Baumbach, who cast Stiller as another middle-aged wanderer in Greenberg in 2010. Critics have said that this is another step in the right direction from Baumbach after Frances Ha and note that it may be his most commercial movie yet.

Baumbach’s other films include The Squid and the Whale (which earned him an Oscar nod) and Margot at the Wedding.
