Bill Murray already made it known he's all for a female-fronted Ghostbusters 3 and was even willing to suggest a few names.

At the Toronto Film Festival on Saturday, Murray was asked about his view on the rumors about a female-led Ghostbusters movie and he was receptive to the idea.

"It sounds great to me," the St. Vincent star told Schmoeknows. "It sounds as good an idea as any other! There are lots of women that would scare off any kind of vapor! No, it's a grande idea."

Speaking with the Toronto Star, he was willing to come up with a few suggestions about who potential director Paul Feig should target. The first name he mentioned was his St. Vincent co-star, Melissa McCarthy. "And Kristen Wiig is so funny -- God, she's funny!" he added.

He also mentioned Linda Cardellini and Emma Stone. "I like this girl Linda Cardellini [Mad Men] a lot. And Emma Stone is funny. There are some funny girls out there."

McCarthy has said she's heard there's interest in a female-fronted Ghostbusters 3, and isn't against the project, but says she has not yet been approached.
