After entering a no contest plea stemming from his felony drug case in 2012, CeeLo Green went on a Twitter rant about the definition of rape.

Due to lack of evidence in the case, he’s not being charged for rape but he was sentenced to three years of probation and 45 days of community service for allegedly slipping a woman an ecstasy pill before taking her back to his hotel room.

Buzzfeed notes the former Voice mentor’s lawyer claimed the two had “consensual relations,” however, she is accusing him of raping her after giving her drugs without her consent.

Green has since deleted his Twitter account, but he ranted, “If someone is passed out they're not even WITH you consciously. People who have really been raped REMEMBER!!!"

He also wrote, "So if I TRIED but did NOT succeed but the person said I DID then what really happened?"

After deleting the controversial comments, he apologized to fans before deleting his account altogether. He said he “sincerely apologizes” for the tweets being “taken so far out of context.”

“I only intended on a healthy exchange to help heal those who love me from the pain I had already caused from this,” he also wrote.
