As we know by now, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt tied the knot after nine years together and managed to keep it a secret from the world. Now, details are emerging about their big day and just how involved their six children were in the joyous occasion.

After getting engaged in 2012, they finally got married in France last week.

The couple shared their first wedding photos with UK’s Hello! Magazine, revealing Jolie wore a white gown that included artwork from their kids on the back.

The gown, made by Luigi Massi of Atelier Versace, featured art from Maddox, 13, Pax, 10, Zahara, 9, Shiloh, 8, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 6.

"It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter. It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family," the newlyweds told the magazine.

According to People, the Aug. 23 ceremony was only attended by 20 people – even her father, Jon Voight, didn’t go.

They tied the knot at their estate, Château Miraval. All the kids were involved - with Maddox and Pax walking Jolie down the aisle, Zahara and Vivienne as flower girls, and Shiloh and Knox as ring bearers.

Jolie said of her dress, “Luigi is like family to me and I couldn't imagine anyone else making this dress. He knows and cares for the children and it was great fun putting it together."
