"If I Could Turn Back Time" singer, Cher, has been forced to postpone the second leg of her Dressed to Kill tour due to an "acute viral infection," according to a representative for the singer.

Billboard reports that the tour was set to kick off in Albany, New York on September 11, but is now being pushed to October 6. Another show, scheduled for September 13 in Manchester, Hew Hampshire, is also being pushed back to October 7. Ticket holders that are not able to attend the new dates will be able to get refunds.

Cher saw doctors over the weekend, and was then diagnosed and ordered to full bed rest for several days. Although there have been changes in dates to the tour, the remainder of the tour is expected to stay the same and continue as scheduled once the multiple award-winning star is fully recovered.

The first leg of the tour managed to gross nearly $55 million from its start on March 22, until its end on July 11, managing to gain over 610,000 attendees at the 49 shows she performed. The Dressed to Kill Tour is Cher's first tour since her Living Proof Farewell Tour, that lasted from 2002 to 2005, and where she played over 300 shows.

Surely this is very unwelcome news for the high-energy 68-year-old, who tweeted, "Got to sing" on September 5.
