Chris Brown is finally breaking his silence on the shooting incident that occurred at his VMA pre-party last month.
The singer is featured on the cover of this month’s Billboard and he is talking about a variety of topics, from his relationship with Rihanna to his legal troubles and his time behind bars. As the issue was going to print, Brown was caught in mist of another scandal. This time revolving around his pre VMA party where music mogul Suge Knight was shot, Brown reached out to Billboard where he addressed the situation for the first time, saying, “No one can live in the past and expect to grow. I have been moving forward and hope that I am not defined by just a few moments in my life but all of the moments that will make up my life."
The incident occurred last month before the VMAs at a night club where Brown was hosting. At some point in the evening, shots were fired and Knight and two others were hit, E! News reports .
There is still much speculation to what happened that night, with many of the people who were in attendance at the club keeping silent, but Knight recently spoke about the shooting, telling TMZ that he doesn’t care who shot him, adding, “I'm happy to be doing well and whatever happens, happens.”
