Kevin Smith's Tusk, the movie that's been making use of Twitter buzz since its inception, has appropriately revealed its first clip on Twitter.

The clip shows Justin Long pleading for help, saying that he was abducted by someone who wants to turn him into an animal. The clip shows the movie's unique mix of horror and comedy, putting us in a terrifying setting while still injecting a bit of humor in there, as the clip finishes with Long saying that he doesn't want to die in Canada.

Tusk is the story of a podcast host who travels to Canada to interview a strange old man, only to be abducted by the man, who wants to torture him and turn him into a walrus.

The idea for the film actually came about on Kevin Smith's podcast, SModcast, where Smith and his cohost Scott Mosier discussed an article they found about a man looking for someone to live with him for free, as long as they agreed to dress like a walrus.

Smith soon began pitching an idea for a movie based on this podcast episode. According to The Wall Street Journal, Smith began asking fans to tweet using the hashtag "#WalrusYes" if they wanted to see this idea become a movie.

Tusk will be Kevin Smith's second major venture into horror after Red State, a horror film he directed and released independently in 2011. The director is otherwise mainly known for comedies such as Clerks and Mallrats.

Tusk will be released in theaters on September 19.
