Immigrant Union, an Australian alternative-country band, will be releasing their album Anyway on September 23 and the album is filled with songs that have a soft, mellow tune that continues through each track, which has its own sound. Their music is said to have genre elements consisting of folk, country and psychedelic and you can hear this in their music.

The band came together in 2004 with the introduction of Brent Deboer, who is also part of The Dandy Warhols, and Bob Harrow, who also provides the vocals as well as playing guitar. With the addition of Peter Lubulwa on keyboards, Ben Street on bass, and Paddy McGrath-Lester on drums, the band has put together their own unique sound to this record.

Many of the songs on the track have a mix of smooth, quiet vocals that allow you to get into the music and focus on the beat and sound that comes through each track. The background harmonies blend well with the music and bring the album together with the addition of the instruments, including drums and guitar.

One of the songs that stands out on the album is “I Can’t Return,” which has a great rhythm that goes along with the vocals on this particular track. This song has some harmonizing in the background and the instruments bring the song to life, from the bass to the keyboard.

Another standout is “Wake Up and Cry,” which begins with a keyboard solo. The beat in this particular song has a great sound, completely different from the other tracks on this album.

Other stand out tracks includes “Shameless,” “Anyway,” and “Analyze This.”
