Keanu Reeves has signed on to star opposite Cuban actress Ana de Armas in the thriller, Daughter of God.

The film follows a police detective trying to get to the bottom of his partner's death, while a young Latino woman finds herself experiencing weird occurrences, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Gee Malik Linton wrote and will direct Daughter of God, which is eyeing a November production start date. Fortitude International hopes to pre-sell the film to international buyers at the Toronto Film Festival.

The thriller puts Reeves and de Armas back together again after recently working together on Eli Roth's Knock Knock, which is currently in post-production.

The Matrix star will also produce alongside Linton and Robin Gurland. Daniel Grodnik and Cassian Elwes will executive produce.

"It's a thrill for me to work on such an exciting project with Keanu, our fourth film together," Elwes said. "Our latest film, Eli Roth's Knock Knock co-stars a bright new talent in Ana de Armas and we are thrilled she has agreed to play the lead in Daughter of God. It was Gee's amazing script that won us all over."

The other two films Reeves and Elews have collaborated on, Deadline notes, are Henry's Crime and Generation Um...
