Rapper Kid Cudi had a scary encounter at the North Coast Music Festival in Chicago, passing out while performing during his headlining set.
During the set, he appeared to have fainted while interacting with fans.
The Chicago Tribune reports he was in the photo pit when it happened, just 10 minutes before his set would have concluded.
After the incident, he took to Twitter to let fans know he’s “OK” and apologized if anyone got scared about the health scare.
“Mad love to the security who were there and helped me out tonight. Really awesome dudes! Thanx for nursing me back to health ha,” he wrote. “Ill do a better and make sure to eat properly on show days 🙂 scouts honor!”

He also wrote, “If I scared anyone tonight I am so so sorry from the bottom of my heart.”
TMZ reports he was actually in the middle of signing an autograph for a fan when he just fell backwards and fainted. A video that concert-goers posted shows he was covered in sweat and seemed out of sorts.
The security detail on stage were there to catch him and bring him away from the stage in order to make sure he got the proper health care he needed.
