It appears as though superstar couple Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have officially began the separation process.
We have known about the possibility of a divorce after Cannon admitted there has been “trouble in paradise.”
However, a source has recently revealed inside information about the couple’s relationship to E! Online, explaining that Carey has officially started the paperwork and is currently “getting all her ducks in a row” as she prepares for the separation.
The source also revealed that the America’s Got Talent tried to bring in a marriage counselor and has “been talking about giving things another try” by asking Carey to give him another chance.
While it appears as though Cannon’s efforts have failed, he has been turning to Twitter to discuss the recent rumors, claiming that no matter happens, he will “always love her conditionally.”
As for Carey, the source revealed that the “When You Believe” singer is currently in the process of looking for alternative housing but is dealing with the divorce “better than people think.”
