The world has lost another legend today as it was confirmed that Joan Rivers passed away at the age of 81. Melissa Rivers confirmed the news in a written statement explaining that her mother was surrounded by family and friends when she passed. Rivers was known for her over the top personality, comedic timing, and controversial one-liners.

Rivers was known for her work in comedy but also was able to branch out into a highly successful television and hosting career. She was also featured in many feature film cameos and roles. Rivers has been featured in a variety of films, even in a popular Marvel movie.
