Paramount may be accused of counting their eggs before they hatch. On Friday night, the studio scheduled the sequels for its upcoming Terminator reboot, Genisys. The new films will be unleashed in 2017 and 2018, which just means that Cyberdyne Systems won’t be destroyed in the first movie.

The films are currently just known as Terminator 2 and Terminator 3. According to Box Office Mojo’s schedule, the second film will be out on May 19, 2017. The third film is due on June 29, 2018.

Filming on Genisys wrapped up last month, with Arnold Schwarzenegger revealing how to correctly spell that title. The film is set for release on July 1, 2015.

Genisys will star Jason Clarke (Zero Dark Thirty) as John Connor and Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) as his mother, Sarah Connor. Jai Courtney is starring as Kyle Reese, John’s father. Matt Smith and Dayo Okeniyi are also starring.

Paramount is co-producing the film with Skydance.

The original Terminator was a smash hit in 1984 and established James Cameron, who also directed T2: Judgement Day. Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines followed in 2003. Warner Bros. previously had plans to start a new franchise with 2009’s Terminator: Salvation, but the film’s lack of critical and commercial success stalled the franchise. Hopefully for Paramount and Skydance, Genisys meets a different fate.
