We all know what the Millennium Falcon looks like, but a new photo of a full-size version being built for Star Wars: Episode VII has had fans excited this week. We also got a little too excited over a J.J. Abrams tweet that reveals absolutely nothing.
The photo of a full-size Falcon is something to be excited about though, as we continue to see more evidence that proves how “real” Episode VII will be. Abrams and his team are clearly dedicated to going back to physical models and not just clogging the screen up with CGI.
As Cinemablend noted, the photo of the Falcon was captured by BBC photojournalist Matthew Myatt. He just happened to be flying over the set in the U.K. and spotted the Falcon. His picture also showed off a full-size X-Wing being built. (Or it could be the new vehicle Abrams showed off in July.)
“It wasn't too clear until I viewed the picture and then realised what it was,” Myatt told the BBC. “I grew up with Star Wars so I started jumping around.”

Meanwhile, Abrams got a few fans excited with his Apple Watch tweet. While people seem to be reading into it, assuming that he revealed that the Death Star is making a comeback, it really doesn’t mean that necessarily. It just means that the lighting design from the Death Star and other Imperial ships is still in use 30 years after Return of the Jedi.
Episode VII opens on Dec. 18, 2015. By then, we’ll know if there’s a third Death Star and, if there is, it’s an incredibly boring idea.
