Consisting of Wayne Viar, Joseph Patrick Moore, and Chris Blackwell, The RockTronix are a rock band whose music also takes on musical elements that include the electronica genre. Later this month, they will debut their CD Magnificent Obsession.
Interestingly enough, they will also be releasing a documentary that was made throughout the process of creating their CD. The documentary has the same title as the CD and if the music previews are anything to go by, the band certainly has a great sound. You can find out more about their music and DVD here.
Their music begins with stirring guitar solos that are matched in unison with the sound of the bass and drums. The three band members all have worked with previous music artists, such as Nadirah Shakoor, who worked with the likes of Madonna, Stewart Copeland of The Police, and Bo Brice.
Beginning with “Surrender,” the guitar and drums comes together to create a stirring rhythm that brings you in as you listen to the music. Every song on the album blends together easily, creating a great piece that has its own sound and encompasses the talent Viar, Moore, and Blackwell bring together.
Both the DVD and album will be available September 30th. Take a look at the trailer for the DVD below to check out some samples of the music that these talented musicians have brought together.
