1. Gotham
Premieres Monday, Sep. 22 at 8/7c on Fox
Promising to offer an action-filled fall season, Gotham is the origin of the heroes and villains that exist in the famed comic book, Batman. Following a young, and somewhat naïve, police detective Gordon, played by Ben McKenzie from The O.C. and Southland, as the main character who begins to uncover a world of crime, murder, and extortion in the infamous city. His first case is double homicide involving none other than Bruce Wayne's parents. Gotham uncovers the intertwined stories of Gordon, Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz), Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue), the Riddler (Cory Michael Smith), the Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor), and Catwoman (Camren Bicondova). It definitely takes on a new angle from the somewhat overdone DC Comic series.
