Amy Poehler and Tina Fey fans better enjoy the upcoming Golden Globes because it will be the last time the two beloved comedians will co-host Hollywood’s glitziest party.
While on NBC’s Today Show this morning, Poehler confirmed that the 2015 ceremony in January will be their last rodeo.
The two Saturday Night Live alums first hosted in 2013 and were immediately signed by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association to do both the 2014 and 2015 ceremonies.
Poehler said that unless they are permanent hosts, there is only one way for them to go - down.
“It's the law of diminishing returns, which is why this is our last time,” she said. “Unless you want to be a perennial host, there's nowhere to go but down!"
The Parks and Recreation star, who won a Globe herself earlier this year, promised a “farewell tour,” but added, “We'll be the Jay Z of the Globes and never retire.”
Poehler has been on the media circuit to promote her new memoir, Yes Please, which just came out. In another recent interview, she also revealed that she dated John Stamos, but sadly “blew it.”
