This week on Awkward., Jenna tried to make up for her role in the Dude Database by renting a party bus for Valentine's Day; Jake and Tamara hooked up; Matty and Gabby got close, much to Jenna's dismay; Sadie felt neglected by Sergio; and Lissa experimented with drugs.

Because everyone found out Jenna was an administrator for the Dude Database, she was being blamed for the Great Repression at PHHS. They were busy giving Jenna "blue balls" in her locker, while Tamara stood idly by, not saying anything about her role.

Personally, I would be upset if my partner-in-crime didn't step up and share the blame with me, but it shows that Jenna has come along way from blaming others for her problems. During Jake's presentation of The New Deal, Jenna got an idea to reignite the student body for Valentine's Day. She ordered a party bus, aware that kids would let loose with alcohol on a bus. Matty didn't hold the database leak against her and promised he would be on the bus.
Meanwhile, Val wasn't repressed and showed excitement over having a boyfriend for Valentine's Day. However, despite dropping hints to Will about the big day, he remained oblivious and ignored her advances.

The Valentine's Day dance finally arrived with Tamara arriving equipped with booze for the occasion. Sadie was dropped off by Sergio while they fought about him having to work the food truck that night. Lissa was excited to be having a girls night with Sadie, while Jenna's mood soured at the sight of Matty and Gabby together.

As the bus arrived, Theo and Cole dubbed it "a strippers' meth lab." After paying the driver, Jenna tried to show everyone they could have fun by taking a spin on the stripper pole. However, it broke, setting the mood for the rest of the evening.

Things got worse when a no-drinking rule was enforced due to the driver's past DUI offenses. Jenna decided they should drink cups of warm water for a game of Never Have I Ever. The game started off as harmless fun, with everyone cracking jokes about the party bus. However, it got intense quickly when Tamara discovered Jake's hook-up with Natalie, and Jenna put Matty in the hot seat about taking someone's virginity. Gabby was uncomfortable as Jenna and Matty both drank from their cups. Jealousy set in when Matty asked whose virginity Jenna took, assuming it was Luke. She dismissed it as the bus came to a screeching halt. Jenna found a hotel room key and was shocked to learn it was Matty's.

Lissa was still troubled by the recent events in her home life. Tyler, her brother/boyfriend, was sent to live with another family, and her father was at a gay retreat. Her recent essay in class even got attention from Val. Lissa mistakenly ate a candy heart with "Molly" written on it, and Theo and Cole panicked because it was a drug. They decided to use her for a social experiment at the dance. They successfully convinced her that God exists, and she loved Sadie. Because Lissa wasn't herself, she decided to express her love for her best friend.

Ally and Lacey stopped by PHHS to lift Val's spirits about being alone on Valentine's Day. They encouraged her to take a crack at Ally's booze boobs to drown her sorrows.

Jenna and Tamara walked into the dance to discover the boys and girls were on opposite sides of the dance floor, similar to the bonfire. Jenna was still feeling the brunt of everyone's hate, so she tried to lift everyone's spirits with booze on the bus; when it was discovered the bus driver drank all the booze, everyone became more mad at her. Tamara refused to take any of the blame, so Jenna took her frustrations out on her.

Back on the dance floor, Jenna took the stage and awkwardly tried to encourage everyone to move on and celebrate. Jake encouraged Tamara to help Jenna, so she went up on stage and owned up to her role in the Dude Database. She told everyone to stop being "harrass-holes" and get over themselves. It wasn't until Lissa crossed the dance floor and locked lips with Sadie that the tension broke between the boys and girl.

Everything was close to back to normal. Jake and Tamara hooked up, and he finally took her to""O-Town." They decided to have a friendly, casual relationship. Matty and Jenna were still on the outs as he confronted her about the virgin confession during Never Have I Ever. He questioned her about whose virginity she took like a jealous ex-boyfriend. He was also upset Gabby took off from the dance, angry with him.

Val broke up the reunited couples on the dance floor because she was still bitter. She noticed Ally was smoking and placed her underneath a fire sprinkler. Val tried bonding with Sadie before Sergio walked in to apologize for choosing work over her. Sadie and Sergio embraced and kissed, while Val remained bummed. Will showed up and surprised her with flowers. He was stalking her all night, which was sweet.

Ally's cigarette smoke set off the fire sprinklers, making it the perfect end for the sexual drought. Everyone was kissing, and Jenna was happy at making everything right. Almost everything as Matty stared at her, sad and alone.
At school, Jenna was treated like she normally was by everyone. Sadie blamed her for Lissa getting suspended for two weeks, calling her a "life-ruiner." Tamara informed Jenna what happened between her and Jake was a one-time thing. Jenna was afraid to talk to Matty, but approached him anyways to apologize for her behavior. He told her her stripper-pole fail was apology enough. He apologized to her for being a d*** to her at the dance. He also told her he and Gabby were taking things slow because she was a virgin. "Some things are just worth waiting for, you know," he said, before walking off with Gabby. It hurt because he made it seem like Jenna wasn't worth the wait. D*** move, Matty.

Quote of the Week: ""I hope you choke on a chalupa!"" Sadie, when Sergio ditched her to go to work in the food truck.

Next week is full of surprises for Matty's birthday. It's Jenna vs. Gabby
