Months after winning the Academy Award for Best Actor, Matthew McConaughey will be getting another award.

McConaughey will receive the American Cinematheque Award tonight, as we previously reported. Jimmy Kimmel is hosting the ceremony.

According to Variety, not only will he be receiving that award, but he will also receive a star in November on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The award will be given to McConaughey over two weeks before his next film, Interstellar, is released in theaters on Nov. 7, according to Deadline. The film’s director, Christopher Nolan is also presenting the award to the actor. Actors attending the ceremony include Jennifer Garner, Kate Hudson, and Interstellar co-star Anne Hathaway, with Jimmy Kimmel hosting.

Although he was known for performing in many romantic comedies, McConaughey has surprised people with recent performances in Dallas Buyers Club, Killer Joe and Mud. Lee Daniels, director of another McConaughey-starring movie, The Paperboy, told Variety that the actor deserved more rewarding praise for his willingness and bravery to do challenging roles.

The American Cinematheque honors a star annually during a gala to raise funds for its Hollywood screenings and events throughout the year.
