Fox News announced today that it will get the first interview with the Navy SEAL who claims he pulled the trigger and fired the shots that killed al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden in May 2011.

The interview with the soldier, whose identity has never been revealed until now, will air in a two-part special called The Man Who Killed Osama Bin Laden. Part one will debut on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 10 p.m., with the second part airing the night after. Washington correspondent Peter Doocy will host.

Fox News said that the special will recount the events of May 1, 2011, the day the SEAL Team 6 raided the building in Pakistan where Bin Laden was hiding out. The SEAL, who is also simply known as “The Shooter,” will share his experiences is in the unit and how he became involved in Operation Neptune Spear. In addition, the special will cover SEAL Team 6’s perspective inside the terrorist compound while President Obama watched in Washington.
Lastly, the special will give viewers an inside look at the secret ceremony at the National September 11 Memorial Museum, where the soldier presented the museum the shirt he wore when he shot Bin Laden.

The special comes over two years after the controversial No Easy Day: The Firsthand Account of the Mission That Killed Osama bin Laden hit bookstores. The book was written by a Navy SEAL Team 6 member who also took part in the mission to kill Osama Bin Laden.
