As Universal prepares for next year’s release of Fast & Furious 7, the stars of the film are starting to speak out more often and discuss their feelings about the death of Paul Walker. Jordana Brewster recently discussed her emotions in a new interview and said that it’s still hard to come to terms with.
“It's the most difficult, intense thing I've ever been through,” the former Dallas star told Cosmopolitan for Latinas when asked about Walker’s death. “Just yesterday, I had a moment where I thought, ‘Oh my God, I'm never going to feel the way I felt when I hugged him.’”
Brewster added that Walker, who was 40 when he died in a car crash in November 2013, treated everyone as equals.
“The thing about Paul is he said hello to everybody. He didn't see people as different,” she said.
As ABC News notes, Brewster told E! News earlier this week that the new film is “bittersweet,” but she’s happy that Walker will still be in it.
“I think the beautiful thing is that they get to see Paul again…and in a way celebrate him,” Brewster said. ""I've heard he's really really good in it, so I look forward to seeing him too. Obviously it will be bittersweet, but I think it's a way for fans to revisit him.""
As we previously reported, the new film has been retitled Furious 7 and will be released on April 3, 2015. James Wan directed the film.
