DC is making a feature film based on the Suicide Squad comic series, and we're now learning what characters will be making the cut in the feature film.

Latino Review reported on the lineup of the film, which will be DC's movie made up mainly of antagonists. The characters featured will be: Blockbuster, a Batman villain with super strength; Multiplex, a human replicator; Jaculi, a speedster; Mindboggler, a telepath; Harkness, who utilizes weapons like a boomerang; Vixen, a woman with animal abilities; and Deadshot, the leader of the team.
This information is important because like The Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy, in the comics the Suicide Squad is a team which has had many interactions and different members throughout the years. So when DC announced the film, it was unclear exactly what characters they would be going with for this version. In the comics, the original Suicide Squad team consisted of Rick Flag. Jr, Karin Grace, Dr. Hugh Evans, and Jess Bright.
As we previously reported, the Suicide Squad is a team of villains from DC comics who perform dangerous tasks for the government in order to reduce their prison sentences.
The film is the latest in DC's upcoming series of films which they will be building a franchise with in hopes of competing with Marvel. Their next major film will be Batman v. Superman in 2016, but according to Screen Rant, Warner Bros. has 11 DC films currently in development.
Suicide Squad will be directed by David Ayer, whose newest film is the Brad Pitt war film Fury.
