Authorities said that a 13-year-old boy, who was reported missing four years ago, has been found and was reunited with his mother Saturday.

WSB-TV reported that the boy, whose name has not been released, was found at a Clayton County home in Georgia years after his mother said he went missing.

Law enforcement officials went to the home on Friday for a welfare check, but did not find the child until they returned a second time early Saturday morning.

“Upon initial arrival, responding officers made contact with several occupants at the location who denied having knowledge of any information concerning the victim,” said Clayton County police Sgt. Kevin Hughes. “After a brief search of the premises, the officers left without locating the victim.”

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution noted that when police returned they spotted the child hidden behind a fake wall in a closet.

Three juveniles and two adults were arrested. One of the adults is the boy’s father, 37-year-old Gregory Jean. He and Samantha Joy Davis, 42, have been charged with false imprisonment, cruelty to children, and obstruction.
